  • Education:
    • Finished first five years (1986-1991) of elementary school in Munich, Germany
    • In 1991 moved back to Zagreb and finished elementary school in 1994
    • In 1998 graduated in general gymnasium Prva Privatna Gimnazija , Zagreb
    • Student of physics (senior) on Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb (Prirodoslovno-matematicki fakultet). Main interest astrophysics
  • Languages: Native Croatian, fluent English and German, school knowledge of Italian (4 years of studying), and passive knowledge of Latin (5 years of studying)
  • Computers:
    • Operating Systems: Windows & Linux
    • Knowledge of: Fortran, SM, html, Latex, MS Office
  • Sport activities:
    • Trained ballroom dancing for a year
    • Did yoga for a while
    • Was active in free-climbing
    • Recreationally playing tennis, sometimes swimming or running
  • University activities:
    • From 29 October to 03 November 2001 spent a few days in Visnjan Observatory, Croatia. If you wanna see what was done click here
    • Participated in "Managers in Science and Education" workshop ( Manageri u znanosti i edukaciji ), from 16 to 19 November 2001
    • Helped with the organization of the "Meeting on Asteroids and Comets" ( MACE ), held in Visnjan Observatory from 17 to 19 May 2002
    • Had been releasing astrophysical news on the Visnjan site. You can find a few of the releases here or here
    • In the year 2002 began doing research (SDSS data analysis) with prof. dr. sc. Kresimir Pavlovski, dr. sc. Zeljko Ivezic and mr. sc. Sasa Ilijic.
    • In January 2003 spent a few days in Vienna, on the Institute for Astronomy of Vienna University. There I worked with prof. dr. sc. Karl Rakos, who gave me the basis for the rest frame Stroemgren photomety mechanism I've worked on later on Princeton University.
    • Spent February/March 2003 on Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, working on synthesis of rest-frame Stroemgren, Stroemgren and SDSS magnitudes from SDSS spectra.
    • Awarded with the Rector's Award for the research on Princeton University ( Rektor.zip )
    • Attended the Vatican Observatory Summer School in Astronomy and Astrophysics ( Vatican Summer School 2003 ), Castel Gandolfo, Rome, Italy, 15 June to 11 July 2003.
    • Attend the Workshop in Dubrovnik (being also a member in the local organizing committee), Croatia, 20-24 October 2003: Spectroscopically and Spatially Resolving the Components of Close Binary Stars . Had there a poster-presentation : A Second Stellar Locus: a Bridge from White Dwarfs to M stars found in the the SDSS
